Terms & Conditions
Mr Grant Muir T/A High Spirits Tours accepts your (the customer/ client) booking under the following terms and conditions:
Prescribed & Bespoke Tours
In order to confirm a booking, a deposit of 50% must be paid OR 100% balance if order is made within 60 days of tour commencement date.
The full balance must be received at least 60 days before tour commencement date. A reminder email will generated before the deadline.
In the event of a cancellation, by the client, following payment of deposit, the deposit may be refundable if cancellation is more than 60 days prior to commencement date of ordered tour.
Where the balance owing on a tour is not paid prior to the 60 day deadline then we reserve the right to cancel the tour and retain the deposit after consultation and remediation with client.
Notification of cancellation must be made in writing to the company by e-mail (email@example.com). Should notification of cancellation be received 60+ days before departure, no further payment is required.
Should the final balance have already been paid, the following schedule of refunds will apply:
- Full refund (direct tour cost and where applicable, permitted refundable hotel costs)
- Any non-refundable hotel costs must be covered by client
Where notification of cancellation has been received prior to commencement of a tour, and final balance paid, the following schedule of refunds will apply:
- 59-21 days before start – 50% of balance
- 20-0 days before start – NIL
High Spirits Tours reserves the right to cancel trips under exceptional circumstances or Force Majeure. In such cases clients will be offered a re-book or refund.
All guests are advised to take out comprehensive travel insurance for the duration of their tour, as this is not provided by High Spirits Tours.
High Spirits Tours does not accept any liability for any loss, inconvenience or damage caused by war, threat of war riot or civil strife, terrorist activity, industrial disputes, natural disaster, fires, sickness and pandemics, weather conditions, airport regulations, temporary, technical, mechanical or electrical breakdown of transport or any facilities contained within advertised accommodation, explosion of any nuclear plant or part thereof or radioactivity/contamination arising from such plant or events beyond the reasonable control of High Spirits Tours.
Unfortunately, children under the age of 5 are not permitted on any scheduled tour.
All participants on alcohol related tours must be at least 18 years of age.
All the above terms shall be construed and interpreted in accordance within the Law of Scotland and all parties submit to the jurisdiction of the Scottish Courts.
We do not store credit card details or share customer details with any 3rd parties at any occurrence.
Any deliberate damages to vehicles or contents within will be charged at cost + 35% plus any costs of cancelled future tours occurred as a result of the inactivity of vehicle due to unscheduled repair.
