Slow down and switch off on the remote Scottish island of Iona
This is the ideal break for those seeking relaxation and relaxing the use of electronic devices
First and foremost, switch off those devices. These devices can either be locked away in your bags or can be stored by us until the end of the retreat. For this retreat, Iona has been selected for different reasons:
-mobile signal is not good/ non-existent
-the island is of spiritual significance
-the island has an abundance of nature to explore and open your mind to. From amazing birdlife to wildflower galore
-it is possible to walk for miles on deserted, white sandy beaches admiring the green waters
-discover the natural wonders on a boat trip to the island of Staffa
-open up your senses by eating great food and nosing and tasting fine whiskies, gins and wines
-optional mindfulness and yoga session (contact us for inclusion and additional cost quote)
Meet in either Glasgow or Edinburgh
Drive to West coast with various stops around Loch Lomond and Argyll coast. This route allows many, many chances to snap some fabulous photographs.
Included on this trip:
-return ferry from Oban to Mull and from Mull to Iona
-senses stirring with whisky and gin tastings. Whisky tasting will also come with chocolates
-boat trip to the geological wonderful Isle of Staffa. Can also meet the puffins here (during nesting period). Boat trips as always will be weather permitting.
